The Finest Gifts is a poetic adaptation of the original Christmas story but done from the perspective of those who went to see the baby Jesus.
Among those who travel to see the baby is and impoverished, hobbled old woman who stumbles along behind the group, and is bullied along the way by others who dress better, for not bring a gift. When they finally arrive at the stable the strong hurry to the manger and place their gifts. When the old woman arrives she silences the bully’s and brings the message to the world.
